The Highland Lodge

Enjoy Adirondack history, incredibly beautiful sunsets, and an expansive beach all at the same time. The Highland Lodge is located on the east end of Fourth Lake with 220 feet of shoreline. This lovely, year-round Victorian includes a wrap-around front porch with swing and rocking chairs, original wainscot paneling throughout, 2 living rooms, a large dining room, a sunroom, 5 bedrooms, 2 fireplaces, 2 baths - including one with a clawfoot soaking tub, beautiful fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, laundry, and an expansive deck accessible from the kitchen and master bedroom. There is also a private dock, two beaches, a picnic table, a gas grill, a fire pit, DirecTV, and WiFi internet access. It sleeps a maximum of 10. There is no smoking in the house, and pets are NOT permitted. The Highland Lodge is conveniently located on the shore of Fourth Lake and snowmobile Trail#5 in a private, wooded area within 250 yards of the center of the village of Inlet. Winter in Upstate New York offers diverse outdoor activities, especially in the Adirondack towns of Old Forge, Inlet, and Eagle Bay. Enjoy skiing at McCauley Mountain or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Fern Park and Adirondack Woodcraft Camps. Known as the 'Snowmobiling Capital of the East,' our region features 500 miles of groomed trails. After your adventures, relax at local bars and restaurants or explore the charming streets filled with shops and attractions.
